Letters to Leaders Fourteen - Underestimated Possibility

I know you’re awaiting part two of our Strategic Planning series. But we’re not quite ready. We hope to get something out for you soon. It's a good time to read part one if you haven't already.

In the meantime, I thought the article from David’s personal newsletter linked below was timely. In my years being a part of and leading teams, it’s clear the most successful ones operate with an immense amount of trust. High trust leads to high grace. High grace promotes a culture of freedom and stewardship that brings out the best in people.

I’ll leave you with a quote from Stephen Covey’s book, The SPEED of Trust,

“There is one thing that is common to every individual, relationship, team, family, organization, nation, economy, and civilization throughout the world—one thing which, if removed, will destroy the most powerful government, the most successful business, the most thriving economy, the most influential leadership, the greatest friendship, the strongest character, the deepest love. On the other hand, if developed and leveraged, that one thing has the potential to create unparalleled success and prosperity in every dimension of life. Yet, it is the least understood, most neglected, and most underestimated possibility of our time. That one thing is trust.”
